Q.) How can you reach me?

Wow, I get a whole 4,000 characters to express my life. Actually now, I only have 3,913 characters left and counting...what to do with them... hmmm, I know, I'll talk about me, oh yeah, that sounds interesting. Let's see,what do I have to say for myself... I know, I'll make a list! Ok, here goes: my life in less than 3,685 characters, in list form! Are you ready? Here we go!
1.) I'm 25 years old--AAAAH! (as of 8/03/05)
3.)My daughter is 5 years old and starts school this year. (aaaah!)
4.) On Feb. 25, 2001 my life was forever changed when Jesus Christ became my Lord and Savior!
5.) I'm a full-time college student now entering Northwestern College in Roseville to be a teacher.
6.) I'm the part time volenteer youth director at my church.
7.) I'm a waitress at a '50's diner. (Denny's in northbranch.)
9.) I used to go to Century College.
wow, I still have 3,000 characters to use up. At this rate, I could actually give my life's history... I have a better idea, I'll talk about the best thing in my life, knowing Jesus! If anyone from Forest Lake class of 98 is reading this, they might possibly remember that Jesus Christ was only spoken by me as one of many curse-words back in highschool. They might even remember me as one of those people that idolized Marilyn Manson and was otherwise excessively disturbing. What happened? well, I look back and can only say that God intercepted me and opened my eyes to His truth--the truth Jesus' death on the cross for sins and ressurrection. Someone i worked with shared this truth with me over the course of several months of friendship. In the process, a desire to know who God really is took over my life. I began reading the Bible and finally went to church, where the Pastor helped me to understand why I need Jesus, why I need God's forgiveness, why I need Him to be my Lord, and how to recieve that. God's forgiveness for my sins, and for Jesus to be my Lord, all the depression, emptyness, hatred and a whole mess of misery left my heart--I was made new. I continue to grow in the light of God's truth, and in knowing Him, and who I am in Him; the purpose of my living and the joy of looking to that day when I'll forever be with Him in Heaven.

Q.) why do we need Jesus?
A.) We're dead spiritually because of our sins. And we can't do anything to make ourselves spiritually alive. We have sinned against God and deserve God's hatred. But instead, He took our punishment for sin. He came in a human body and bore in it the hatred and wrath of God towards sin when He died on the cross. And 3 days later, He rose from the dead. He is the only One who takes away our sins and makes us alive spiritually. He is the only one who takes away God hatred against us because of our sins, and gives us peace with God.
Q.) What does it mean to be a Christian?
A.) This is probably the most misunderstood concept in our culture today. I can only attempt to answer this in simple terms. To be a Christian is to identify one's self with Christ. In other words, when someone says they're a Christian, they're saying, "I belong to Jesus Christ, I believe He is the only Son of God who died on the cross and bore my sins and rose from the dead. He took away my sin and gave me new life and peace with God, so now I live for Him, He is my Lord." As one who belongs to Christ, I identify with His death on the cross and no longer live for myself to satisfy my self, but I live to please Him, and follow His ways, which are by far so much greater than anything this world has to offer, though certainly they are not without struggle or pain. But through all circumstances, I know that there is a good purpose for all things and can endure all things through Christ who strengthens me.
